the majestic surroundings and tranquil setting
of North Central Alberta will appeal to the traveler seeking peace and quiet and yet offer
plenty of
activities for the more adventurous.
River swimming,
hiking, biking, canoeing, picking wild berries,
fishing,
hunting,
sightseeing, and
golfing at nearby courses offer something
for everyone in the family at our seasonal campground. Also plan to experience many of the
recreational offerings available at the campground or in the
Campground.
Your visit to the Freeman River RV Park and Campground will
place you on the doorstep of local wildlife and show you the true meaning of wilderness
and beauty. Deer, moose, elk, fox, rabbits, beaver and other smaller residents of nature
are often seen as Alberta's watchable wildlife is plentiful here.
In the summer, the Alberta sun sets farther north offering
daylight evenings framed with golden sunsets nearing midnight, especially during the
summer solstice in June. Outdoor
activities requiring daylight, such as
golfing or hiking are often enjoyed long into the evenings. Mother Nature
keeps the longer evenings comfortably warm from May to September, providing for a pleasant
Alberta camping season. |
