Barrhead Golf Club

The Barrhead Golf Club is an 18 Hole Championship Course designed by the renowned Les Furber. It has been included in Golf Digest's "Best Places To Play" for the last three years and is remarked as a must stop for all Central Alberta golf enthusiasts.  The course is highlighted by a challenging 6650 yard layout coupled with pristine manicuring making the trip to Barrhead well worth the drive. This course is located approximately 25 minutes from Freeman River RV Park.

Swan Hills Golf and Country Club

This 9-hole course has a yardage of 2905 and is a par 36. The course not only was built by volunteers it is still completely operated by a volunteer board. Opened in 1989 the Swan Hills Golf and Country Club the course is a testament to the volunteer efforts of the people of Swan Hills and the generous support of the numerous oil patch companies.

Cart and club rentals are available. Enjoy a meal at the Club House; seasoned with a beautiful view. The kitchen is open to all members of the public.

Westlock Golf Club

This challenging 18 hole, Par 72 course has fairways that follow the Washash Creek through a heavily treed valley with four of the back nine holes diverting from the creek. The signature par 5, 18th hole is considered to be the most difficult on the course and one of the most demanding holes anywhere. The fully pro shop has golf club rentals and power cart rentals. Food and beverages are available in the. licensed lounge. This course is about 45 minutes from Freeman River RV Park.
 

Paddle River Golf Course - Barrhead

Located within town limits on Highway 33 at the south entrance of town, across from the Barrhead Co-op. This mature, treed course has a driving range, clubhouse, proshop and restaurant. This course is 9 holes.
